For the last several years, I have been hosting panels at sci-fi/fantasy conventions on astronomy, space science, and the intersection of science fiction and science fact. Topics I have discussed include the science of Star Wars, video game physics, ethics in sci-fi/fantasy, historic astro-cosplay, gravitational waves, and black holes.

Astronomy on Tap
Astronomy on Tap is a series of astronomy events around the world where science outreach happens in bars. I am in discussion with a few breweries in the Hartford area to host upcoming events. Stay tuned!
Public Talks
I am available for speaking engagements (at no cost) at public libraries, schools, etc. Topics I can discuss include: black holes, gravitational waves, the seasonal sky, 18-20th century historical astronomy, celestial navigation, and astronomy and pop culture.
