I’m an Associate Professor of the Practice in Astronomy at Wesleyan University. In our department, I wear many hats; amongst them are: director of outreach, facilities manager for our telescopes and computers, researcher, professor, and head student wrangler. My work is primarily on X-ray binaries and black hole growth and evolution. I am also deeply committed to astronomy outreach, especially through non-traditional venues. I’m a frequent guest at many sci-fi and fantasy conventions, most notably DragonCon in Atlanta, GA.
Our department website is here. Follow me on Twitter here.
Come on in and have a look around. The research page is probably a good place to start.
